Happy Halloween!

Maddy had a great time trick or treating and kept saying, "one more house!" Max only joined us for a few houses, as it was pretty cold.

Max is 4 months!

We have been very busy this month! Angela went back to work, Maddy is in daycare ("school"), and we had 2 weddings! Maddy was a flower girl in one and did a GREAT job, especially since her partner, the ring bearer, decided not to walk down the aisle! I will put up some pictures of her in her dress as soon as we get them from the photographer. Max is growing like crazy and started some cereal this month. He does pretty well, but still likes to spit it out sometimes. He has also found his voice and talks and coos up a storm. Especially when he sees a picture of his (future) girlfriend baby Sam on the fridge....he has to talk to her & smile every time he walks by! Maddy is doing very well at "school" and has made several new friends and is learning a TON! She is working on writing her name already!

Pumpkin Patch 2009

We went to the pumpkin patch/orchard over the weekend to pick out our pumpkins. Unfortunately it wasn't a very good crop and they were already picked over, so we only ended up with one good pumpkin after a LONG time of searching! The kids had fun though and Max especially loved the tractor ride!

Max's first visit to the Children's Museum

We went to the Children's Museum and out to lunch on Saturday and Max did great! He loved looking at everything and playing in the baby area in Playscapes. I think he is going to be a people watcher! Maddy's favorite is the carousel, of course.

Max is 3 months!

It is hard to believe he is 3 months old already! He is doing great....cooing and smiling and we even get a laugh out of him sometimes. He will be so happy to be out of his harness because he just wants to move, stretch and kick those legs! Only a few more days, then nighttime only which will be a challenge. He already fights us with all of his strength (and cries) when we have to put it on him, poor guy! He is doing good night and is usually only up once and goes right back to sleep after a bottle and diaper change. He is also loving going for walks and is doing better in the car (he doesn't actually scream the WHOLE trip) now. Whew!!!!

Maddy and Angela went to a tea party themed bridal shower which was fun! Maddy loved the Alice in Wonderland theme and wearing her flower dress! She also got to visit a jobsite with daddy. She wanted to go so bad and Paul said she could go but she'd have to wear her sneakers and a hard hat. She said, "I can borrow your Colts hard hat daddy!" And off they went....She actually kept it on the whole time!

Maddy's First Day of Daycare!

Maddy started daycare (school) on Sept. 8th. We were worried about how she would do and she did great the first day and loves it so far! No tears or tantrums and she even napped for the full two hours, wow! I'm sure she was worn out from all that playing and making new friends. She will go 2-3 days per week while Angela is working.

Harness Boy!

Here are a few pics of Max in his harness. I t has been 3 weeks already, yipeee! He is doing great and adjusted quite well. He LOVES the few minutes twice a day (when we get him dressed) when it comes off. He stretches his legs, kicks and coos like crazy. Only 3 more weeks of full time, then as long as his ultrasound looks good he can go to night only for 6 weeks. He had his 2 month appt. and is 13 lbs. 11 oz. and doing great. He got two shots and only cried for a second after the second one, tough boy!

State Fair and Maddy at the pool!

Maddy had a ball at the State Fair. Her favorite part were the rides (of course)! But she did get to pet a cow, horse and a sheep & ride a pony! She LOVED the roller coaster (kiddie one), which we were surprised because it went pretty fast and was very jerky! Here are a few pics of her at the pool with her cousin Emma and Grandma Barbara. She is quite the swimmer now and loves jumping in and swimming with her swimmies.
