Harness Boy!

Here are a few pics of Max in his harness. I t has been 3 weeks already, yipeee! He is doing great and adjusted quite well. He LOVES the few minutes twice a day (when we get him dressed) when it comes off. He stretches his legs, kicks and coos like crazy. Only 3 more weeks of full time, then as long as his ultrasound looks good he can go to night only for 6 weeks. He had his 2 month appt. and is 13 lbs. 11 oz. and doing great. He got two shots and only cried for a second after the second one, tough boy!

State Fair and Maddy at the pool!

Maddy had a ball at the State Fair. Her favorite part were the rides (of course)! But she did get to pet a cow, horse and a sheep & ride a pony! She LOVED the roller coaster (kiddie one), which we were surprised because it went pretty fast and was very jerky! Here are a few pics of her at the pool with her cousin Emma and Grandma Barbara. She is quite the swimmer now and loves jumping in and swimming with her swimmies.

Max is 2 months already!

Here are his one month pictures, yes we are a little behind! He is doing well, growing like crazy. At his one month appt. the dr. discovered he has hip displaysia, so we had to see a pediatric orthopedic dr. He has to wear a harness 24 hrs. a day for 6 weeks and then as long as he is doing well and his socket is forming correctly, he can go to 12 hrs. per day for another 6 weeks. He has had it for 2 weeks already and is a champ! We also found out he has milk & soy allergies and has acid reflux. He is on medication for the reflux and I cut out all dairy & soy from my diet and he is like a different baby! Whew!! It was a rough few weeks, but now he is so happy and sleeps great!

He has had great head/neck control from day one! He LOVES tummy time too!
