The Kids Playing!

Here are some pics of them playing the other night. They really play well together already. Except for the fact that Maddy always thinks she needs to take away his toys, even though they are baby toys! "But I NEED that mommy!" We are reinforcing the concept of "sharing" daily! She is very sneaky, though and tries to distract him with something else. We keep telling her that someday that will NOT work!

It's been awhile since I posted, so here are just some cute pictures from the last few months. Max is sitting well and rolling everywhere. He is about ready to crawl and rocking on all fours. He has taken a few "crawls" but nothing major yet. Watch out when he does! Maddy is loving school and dance class. She keeps saying "I can't wait for Spring." Me neither!! We are all excited to get some warmer weather and get outside! She has become fascinated with Scooby Doo and that is all she wants to watch. Needless to say, we will be having a Scooby themed birthday party for both of them in June! She even wants us to dress up: She is Daphne (of course), I am Velma, Paul is Shaggy, Max is Fred, Elvis is Scooby and Shiloh is Scrappy. It should be an interesting party!

She insists she is Daphne from Scooby Doo and even makes us call her Daphne. My friend Staci gave us this old Daphne Halloween costume and it is ALL she wants to wear!

Maddy found one of my sleep masks and now insists on wearing it EVERY SINGLE time she sleeps (nap time and at night). Too funny!! She even woke me up in the middle of the night one time because she couldn't find it!

She does manage to get it over her eyes before she goes to sleep!

Dancing Machine!

Maddy is now taking dance lessons. I was lucky enough to find a great studio that has classes for her age. She is doing a "combo" class which has a few weeks of tap, ballet and jazz. So far she loves them all!
